AMANDA JOHNSTON

Amanda is Curator at The Sustainable Angle, creators of the largest dedicated sustainable materials showcase The Future Fabrics Expo, an edition of which will feature in the new sustainable fashion accelerator hub, La Caserne in Paris Sept 23rd- 28th 2021. 

Amanda has a background in design consultancy, research and education and is co-author of Fabric for Fashion and Fabric for Fashion The Swatch Book. Her work involves speaking on panel discussions, delivering workshops, presentations and seminars internationally, both at industry events and educational forums.

SPEAKERS

JOSHUA SCACHERI

Founder & Creative Director of LOVE HERO, a planet-conscious brand putting people and planet first. 

Joshua has over 15 years experience in the industry working for global luxury brands and retailers. Former Head of Menswear Design for DAKS London, Joshua Scacheri understood there was an alternative way of doing things that was less damaging to the planet,  took matters into his own hands and pursued the change he wanted to see, through LOVE HERO. He was recently a contestant on Amazon's TV Show Making The Cut Season 2 using the platform to advocate his sustainable principles.

KORNIT DIGITAL

Kornit Digital develops, manufactures and markets industrial and commercial printing solutions for the garment, apparel and textile industries. Kornit revolutionizes the fashion tech industry with cutting-edge technology, processes, and software solutions.

KATARINA RIMARCIKOVA 

Katarina is a cross - disciplinary creative design practitioner, entrepreneur, industry consultant, collaborator, an educator focused on sustainability, innovation, circular design and responsible business models.

Her expertise lies in fibres, materials, design & manufacturing innovation, circular models and responsible supply chain, sustainability research and communication. She operates as a creative and sustainability consultant, designer, mentor for start- ups, lecturer and director of ALIGN, creative studio for sustainable and innovative solutions.

TIM ETHERINGTON-JUDGE

Tim Etherington-Judge is a passionate environmental campaigner and co-founder of Avallen Spirits, a climate-positive spirits brand with a mission to save the bees, so you can enjoy a delicious drink without giving the planet a hangover.

JULIEN VAISSIERES

Julien is founder and CEO at Batch.works. He launched Batch.works in 2016, with the aim of making affordable and eco-friendly products that make the most of 3D printing’s speed and efficiency. The company has worked with brands including Spaces, which offers coworking offices, and digital marketplace Etsy – which shortlisted Vaissieres’ pen pot design for its 2016 Retail Star Award. The founder was also included in Stationery Matters’ Thirty Under 30 Class of 2018.
